So I'm really enjoying playing this game, but one thing is perplexing me(keep in mind that I bought a used copy that didn't come with a manual). In Vice City, if you died or were arrested during a mission, there would be a taxi with an arrow above it outside the hospital/police station that would take you back to the starting point of the same mission. SA doesn't seem to have this; is there another way of quickly returning to the mission site that I'm not aware of? Thanks.

hmmm...I always just saved my game as close to the mission start as possible, and if I died or whatever, I would just reload the game, and hence be close to the mission start.

Yeah, that would work. Of course, I'm still relatively early in the game so I don't have much property, and I know there are bug issues with certain save points like there were in Vice City. It just seems weird that they did away with that return feature.

That's what I did as well. The size of the world in San Andreas is so much larger than the previous games, that's the only logical thing to do. Nobody wants to constantly travel back to a mission from halfway across the map (yes, later in the game it gets like that away from the city).

Yes wish there was more Trip Skips for more of the missions in San Andreas, that definitely was a great feature, so was the taxi taking you from the Hospital/Police Station to the next mission.

But all in all San Andreas is one Bad MFer of a game.

I'm working on my second way through the game as we speak.

I only noticed the trip skip on one mission. It definitely would have been helpful to be able to get around the map quicker. But I'm done everything now. Just have to export 20 more cars and I'll have 100%.
