i'm a fan of this tune. underappreciated. it really is quite kick ass.

the part at 1:07 is my fav.

The first 45 I ever bought (used at an elementary school fundraiser), and coincidentally it was the #1 song in teh US on teh day I was born.

One of my least favorite songs from one of my favorite artists. When it was a hit, Elton supposedly didn't understand why the song was so popular. He vowed at one point to never play it live again, obviously that never stuck.
The Don't Shoot Me album has a few great tunes (High Flying Bird, Blues for Baby and Me, Eldeberry Wine,) this isn't one of them.

that's funny i downloaded the album, and was the complete opposite. not a single song compared to this song, or was even in the same league. i was really disappointed with the rest of the tunes.
