That's the thing though, they weren't from the ones I've seen.
Wiggers must be a lot worse these days...because I thought they were way over the top in the movie. Plus, I felt the girls were particularly idiotic. I didn't really feel bad for them at the end of the movie, although that might have been the point.
I'd like to see this movie again...or certain parts of it at least.

hmm..i thought anne hathaway's character was pretty intelligent- just very disconnected and unhappy. i think she really did want to belong to something with her attempt to hookup with the other crew-she felt a sense of community and family in their crew that she didn't have in her life
I thought the real thugs killed the wiggers, or more likely, there was at least one death in each car. I liked how the thugs went through the rich boys neighborhood and vice versa with the rich boys in the thug neighborhood...good parallel universe thing going on there....and they ended up meeting in the middle on their way home...almost avoiding conflict all together. tragic.
Never understood the kid and the documentary...seemed a little forced.
