Any fans of this great director? I just finished Andrei Rublev and have also seen Stalker and they were both simply amazing.

I've been wanting to see Stalker for the longest time. Also Andrei Rublev.

Stalker is the only one of his I've seen, and for whatever reason, I didn't like it much. I'd want to see Andrei Rublev, The Mirror, and Solaris before I made any real judgments though.

Huge Tarkovsky fan right here. My personal favorite is Zerkalo (The Mirror), although Solaris is another strong contender.

I'm quite a fan, with Stalker being my favorite. His first feature, Ivan's Childhood is quite good too.

His book, Sculpting in Time, is a fascinating read. He comments on all of his films and discusses his views on the art of cinema.
