I smell Oscar already. It was just placed on youtube with the entertainment tonight clip, but I'm sure the trailer alone will be up soon.

Um, yeah so anyway, there better not be any threads about the film coming 3 months from now. Alright? Cool.

well, two minutes ago i just got done watching Revolutionary Road online. First off I feel guilty for doing so, I believe in going to the theater, and I probably will on a date or something. Anyway...

Very good movie. Probably my favorite so far this year. It has the emotional impact that was absent in Button, and yes, as many critics have said, well acted by everyone involved.

I can't imagine for the life of me why it is at 69% rating on rottentomatoes. Everything from Thomas Newman's score, to Mendes direction, to Deakins cinematography to the acting. Good stuff all around.

I wasn't disappointed, but kind of underwhelmed. It was nicely stylized and well-acted, ultimately it felt too preserved to have much of an impact.

Other than some good dialogue, I don't see how this was much different than any other movie that critiques suburbia

There isn't much difference. But others don't have the combination of Thomas Newman, Mendes, Roger Deakins, Dicaprio, Shannon, and Winslet.

I still don't get it

I'm sure it will win best picture. It's a good film, I probably wouldn't watch it again though.

I don't know about that. Slumdog and Milk are high on every critics radar

I'm finishing Slumdog as I type. During a break.
