This is coming from a person who 'supports' a team in pretty much every league I've heard of... just because

Ew, I don't want to be a 'packer' So I still need a team. It has to have a decent mascot, something with meaning, not something like a fucking red sock. Seriosuly, wtf? The other day I asked my brother what 'knick' in NY knicks stood for, and he said 'knickerbockers' and I seriously couldn't stop laughing. I was trying to have a drink but everytime I lifted the glass I would just burst into peals of laughter and tears of joy. (I know these are from different sports by the way)
Teams over here have real mascots like lions and tigers and bears, oh my!
