Just seen the first episode on the BBC in England, they've got it on the iPlayer to watch. I know that you're not supposed to be able to watch this outside Britain (as we pay a licence fee, bollocks I know!), but if you used a proxy or VPN you'd be ok. Details:. Shit you can probably get it from your friendly neighbourhood torrent site.
Anyway, not sure if he's know in the US, but he's an ex-pat whose professor of history and art history at Columbia University. He's did a really good series which I really enjoyed about the history of Britain. This title is fairly self-explanatory. Good shit, check it out if you're into history...
Here's the iPlayer link I think it's there until the 12th of Jan, but I'm sure you can torrent it.

I've bought this a few years ago now, but still have not got around to watch it.
he's just done a 4-part (I think 4) serie on America that was quite interesting. he was all other the UK coverage of the US election recently too.
