Success.
There are usually more ways to do something wrong than right. Failure only eliminates one of the many ways of doing something wrong. Success shows you have found one of the few ways that work.
But both are important.

Not a copout, but both.

Success gives you the motivation to try newer more challenging things, as well as satisfies our need for assurance and accomplishment.

While failure keeps us humble and allows us the opportunity to interact with others when we need help.

Without success, failure would be insurmountable.
Without failure, we'd all have God-Complexes.

failure, i'd ponder. science shows that bad is worse than good is good for us, and i think we take much of our lives granted.

I'd say success tinged with failure. As in sort of doing something right, enough to get by, but realizing you still messed up and have a lot of room for improvement.
