Agreed. There is already one too many Nickleback in the world today. Damn I wish those guys would just fall off the earth.
Can't say I was never into them, but when the latest single sounds just like their debut, something is wrong. I mean some bands can pull it off, but AC/DC these guys are not.

i actually cried when i heard this song, because i picture people listening to the radio pumping their fists and crap like this gets passed on as good music.

this is... inspiring
It's never enough to say I'm sorry It's never enough to say I care But I'm caught between what you Wanted from me, and knowing If I give that to you I might just disappear.
Nobody wins when everyone's losing
Oh, it's like
One step forward and two steps back No matter what I do you're always mad And I can't change your mind,
Oh, it's like
Trying to turn around on a one way street I can't give you what you want And it's killing me and I, I'm starting to see Maybe we're not meant to be
It's never enough to say I love you No, it's never enough to say I try It's hard to believe that's there's No way out for you and me And it seems to be, The story of our life
Nobody wins when everyone's losing
It's like one step forward and two steps back No matter what I do you're always mad And I can't change your mind, oh It's like trying to turn around on a One way street. I can't give You what you want and it's killing me And I, I'm starting to see That maybe we're not meant to be
There's still time to turn this around Should we be building this up Instead of tearing it down But I keep thinking Maybe it's too late.
It's like one step forward And two steps back, No matter what I do You're always mad and I Can't change your mind, oh It's like tryin to turn around On a one way street I can't give you what you want And it's killing me and I, I finally see, Baby we're not meant to be

Does Chad Kroeger actually still write and produce for this band? I think he's done much of the writing for this band and Default -- hence the great similarities in sound and songwriting.

3 finalists for worse song ever are dominating the radio, to the point of unavoidableness.
The "something in your mouth" song The "lick me like a lollipop" song The "bad bad girlfriend" song..........
and they are generally sung by dudes that couldn't get a chick with a $100 bill hangin out their zipper.
I love how they all say they are inspired by the great music that came from the 90's when it's clear, by both their ages and music that they were all children of the 80's. Someday, soon, these bands will be laughed off the face of the earth. A few of them will kill themselves, and it will be a due punishment.

come on admit it...you love these guys
I remember seeing an interview on TV with the band Default....they mentioned how Nickelbarf was a huge help in teaching them the keys to success. More specifically: "They told us to keep our hit songs at the 3 minute lenght so that it would get more radio play"

nope they hate the 90s from ultimate guitar interview with Hinder
Quote:
There was a time in the early 1990s when guitar solos had decreased and grunge was king of the music scene. Had that pretty much blown over by the time you guy formed the band?
Joe: Yeah, it was ’01. Obviously we were growing up in that time period and were hearing all that grunge crap and everything. But we also remembered before all of that, seeing just how much fun it was to go out to a concert. That was one of my favorite things to do whenever we’re playing live – seeing the smiles on people’s faces. Getting drunk, getting laid, just overall having a great time, and leaving with a smile on your face. I think it kind of got lost through the 90’s. It seemed like there were some concerts you left even more depressed than even when you got in.
That was just one of our main things that we wanted to do. We just wanted to bring back the fun. It’s what rock and roll is all about. It’s going out, being crazy, and doing our thing. It’s not an act! Even before we joined the band, we were always party animals and just always trying to live that rock and roll lifestyle. When everything happened, it just kind of kept on going.
"It seemed like there were some concerts you left even more depressed than even when you got in." This is a retarded comment. what concerts were they going to that made them depressed? I don't recall people going to see pearl jam because "they depressed the hell out of me"
