Here's the skinny. There was a Soundgarden bootlegs thread going on the PJ board that had stretched to 57 pages. That board is closing and I have no desire to register at the new board (I was only on the old board for this thread) so I decided to move it here. You'll find lots of links to bootlegs and lots of discussion about Soundgarden live stuff here, as well as organizing to surface/torrent new stuff.
===============================================================
Here's the March 10, 1989 CBGB's show:
http://zombtracker.the-zomb.com/details.php?id=28589
Sound is a bit distant, but listenable.

Here's the setlist-it's the only show I have with Toy Box:
01. Intro
02. Gun
03. Flower
04. Thank You (Falettin Me Be Mice Elf Agin)
05. I Awake
06. Entering
07. All Your Lies
08. Kingdom of Come
09. Incessant Mace
10. Toy Box
11. Hand of God
12. Hunted Down
13. Free Bird/Beyond the Wheel
14. Sub Pop Rock City
15. Jam/Earache My Eye/Jam
16. Outro
---------------------------------------------
I uploaded the Soundgarden 10/18/96 Stockholm, Sweden show on zomb. I just noticed it's from the video of the show. Does anyone have the video that they would be willing to upload also? I missed it when it was on dime.
http://zombtracker.the-zomb.com/details.php?id=28495

I'll get the other two uploaded over the holidays.
----------------------------------------------
A hearty Merry Christmas to all whether or not you celebrate it. I've taken the liberty of uploading a couple of Christmas presents:

#1: http://www.dimeadozen.org/torrents-d....php?id=228807
#2: http://www.dimeadozen.org/torrents-d....php?id=228806

The first has never circulated anywhere before. Even though the quality isn't as nice as I would like it to be it's an amazing show and a thrill to have the complete show finally, after all these years. The second was requested, but I also wanted to upload it because it's an EXCELLENT Superunknown tour show, one of the best.

Also, maybe you had this or maybe you didn't...this is an AUD of Soundgarden playing "Tears To Forget" from a show in Olympia in 1987. This is all that's out there for now. There's a short interview too about the Fopp EP and at the very end is a snippet of an interview with Mudhoney. I'm working on the full show; this makes a nice primer: http://www.sendspace.com/file/1xse3m

Finally, I'd love to extend a huge thanks to Sunshine for upping 10/18/96. That's been on my list for 8 years! Now for the video...
---------------------------------------------
Here's the Salt Lake City show:
http://zombtracker.the-zomb.com/details.php?id=28550

Thanks for the New York show, Matt! Can't wait to listen.

Anyone have Philly 6/23/94, Tower Theater?
--------------------------------------------
Does anybody have Soundgarden's last concert ever?

"February 09, 1997: Honolulu, HI Blaisdell Arena"
---------------------------------------------
Somebody has the Honolulu show but it certainly isn't anyone here. The last show I or anyone here has (so far as I know) is 2/02/97 from Perth, the 4th-to-last show. Listen to that if you were wondering why they broke up.

Also, for those with torrenting abilities there are two new shows on DIME. Christmas in January!

Hey guys, been following the Bootleg thread over at the old site for some time. I really appreciate all the work that has gone into making material available and posting it up (can never have enough of my fav band).

Anyway, I have been working on customizing a forum for Soundgarden fans on a Yuku community board (not the greatest software in the world, but it's workable). I still have a few things I would like to do and maybe add some additional scripts and content, but it should be pretty stable. I need to change a few things here and there. I got tired of there not being a specific forum in regards to the band, although there are a "few" forums with Soundgarden discussion.

Feel free to signup and post. If you guys want to continue or create a new bootleg thread in the Louder Than Live! section, please, help yourselves. I know it's a pain to register at a new site and recompile a thread once again, so if Mr. Reeder wants to continue the Bootleg thread here, no problems don't worry about it. I don't want to tread on any members over here. Again, I just appreciate that someone is willing to take the time to provide and find such material.

I just wanted to give you guys a heads-up on the forum if you're interested. Peace.

I like this idea. It would be nice to have a forum somewhere. I've seen other forums with limited use and I'd love someplace to convene that interests everyone. It has to be done right. Ideally I'd love to do a Soundgarden site like Live Nirvana but I have neither the time nor the money. Maybe somebody(ies) else wants to step in and help set this up?

In the meantime my goal before I go back to school in June is to track down and surface or help surface as many shows as possible. I've been in contact with individuals who have another 10-15 shows/recordings not currently circulating and I'm hoping they'll either trade with me or just torrent their recordings outright. Most of them I believe will eventually come through and we'll have some new shows out there for the enjoyment of all.

Finally, I'm going through my shows and encoding everything I have to FLAC in hopes of preserving them for all eternity (Brisk, this is what is taking my time-this will also mean you'll get some kickass shows). I'm thinking of torrenting another show or two in the near future. What does everyone here want? An early show, Badmotorfinger, Superunknown or DOTU? I'm open to suggestion. It can't be something currently active on DIME or TTD. If you don't know I'll post a list of suggestions later.

Oh, and one last thing: is the 2/28/98 Auckland Pearl Jam show circulating? I know it's not listed on any trade sites I could find but that doesn't mean it isn't "circulating", if you get my drift?

Just curious.

cool man

Yeah i wouldn't mind an SG forum , seeing there is one for all the other bands, Smashing pumpkins, AIC, and Pearl Jam. I really want to nail down getting SG boots, which matt is helping me with and anymore that surface would go on that board. Also any discussions of SG reformation ;)

Looks fat too!

Yeah, the Live Nirvana site is very well done and thorough in regards to all aspects of the band. I really like it.

Are you the one who was doing the Live Guide Matt? Would be nice to have that up again someday.

As far as the SG forum I did on Yuku, I don't know how busy that board can even get, but I will probably start posting stuff now and then to try and attract some discussion. I always enjoy design challenges, so I had fun just making the different backgrounds and color schemes. If anything, I have some assets to work with if anyone decides to do a full blown SG site and I could volunteer to help with the forum and its customization.

Looking forward to what you come up with next. :D

Yeah, I'm the one behind the Soundgarden Live Guide. My host went out of business and it hasn't been up since. I've been updating it and I'm retooling it a bit too...hopefully I'll get it back up sometime soon.

Yeah, I'm the one behind the Soundgarden Live Guide. My host went out of business and it hasn't been up since. I've been updating it and I'm retooling it a bit too...hopefully I'll get it back up sometime soon.
