Post subject: A tower dedicated to U2 and an Iron man statue for Dublin..w

Just wondering what people from other places think of these two...Dublin is getting it's own statue of liberty..kind of..the wire man..
it'll be on the rejuvinated docklands are just a short distance from the U2 tower...they're being given the egg shape at the top as a purpose built studio as their hannover quay studio is being demolished to make this tower
what do you guys think?

recently just moved away from across the dock from hanover quay..you could hear them play somedays. its a good spot. shame theyre knocking it down.

I think U2 would say they are very American. Not as American as they are Irish but they definitely belong to the US as well as us. More than anywhere else in any case.

it's 48 metres high...thast taller than anything down that part of town..i like it
2 metres taller than libery (the statue not the plinth) put like that its gonna completely dominate the skyline down there as it currently is. though theres other stuff going up..
