Not sure if anyone watches this on A&E. It's pretty interesting. Everytime they try to talk to the ghosts, they make some sort of contact, but at the same time, they never seem to follow through and really engage the viewer. it seems like its a sleekly edited show and if you were there taping, you'd know half of it was just a put on.

That show bothers me. Ever since "Ghost Hunters" came out there have been shows put out to give you cheap scares and what not. First, you have Discovery's "A Haunting", which is over the top cheap scares. I have read and heard about some of their haunting cases and none of them are as dramatic as that show puts it. Then you have "Paranormal State" which I find to be B version of TAPS and I don't know if I can trust anyone on that show. Then you have British group on Travel Channel which is full of psychics, and I don't know if those psychics are really psychics or if it's just a put on. It leaves me with "Ghost Hunters" or TAPS, the only group on television that I can really trust in the field.

These guys are from Penn State. So I actually gave the show a shot.

I am all about them trying to do the show, but the couple eps I watched were snoozers. I don't remember the dumb terms they came up with, but I didn't like them. I thought it was interesting when they were listening for sounds and when they were interviewing the people, but the rest of the show is boring. And I think the guy jumps to conclusions ways too much.
:shake: not for me.

Plus the editing and sound effects completely kill it.

The new Seasons premier episode was shot in my home town. My parents live 3 min from the house they focused on. Went to High School with a girl whose grandma used to live in the actual house...pretty cool seeing it on TV.

This show makes Ghost Hunters seem credible.
