i did elderly woman behind the counter.. at an open mic night a long time ago. i liked it, it went ok.

I used to do open mics all the time. they are fun. good way to get over stage fright

It was "Wagon Wheel" by Old Crow Medicine Show. It's definitely the song I've found my voice most perfectly suited to within the last year or so I've really started to sing songs.

i've done a few of these, i seem to be either great or awful no inbetweens. i get the shakes when i'm on stage, especially if i have to hold something.

I get crazy shakes dude.

if you get nervous in front of people and u wear glasses or contacts, then take them off/out. when you cant see the people well defined it's much easier to stand in front of them. if you don't need glasses, then get a cheap pair that blurs out people. and if that doesn't work, you can always use cocaine.

I do them quite regularly, decent night out, me and my mate will play a couple of songs each then get pissed up. Last time I played two of my songs and Monty Python's Galaxy song to finish. I thought it went alright, apart from the fact that I flubbed the guitar line to my opening song. Still who cares, it's only open mic.
