Just watched this today for the first time at my school.
Great stuff.
Peter O Toole is wonderfully strange in this movie. He has a lot of feminine qualities to his character, but at the same time he is one of the most sadistic, eccentric, and puzzling characters I have seen.
From your posts lately it looks like you are doing the movie tour I took 10-12 years ago....not that I was in film school but everyone that loves movies needs to seek out those old flicks...you don't have to like all of them but you need to see them. If you are looking for a great lesser known movie in the same vein as LOA(sorta....not really) check out The Wind And The Lion. You have to get past Sean Connery playing an Arab, but it's a great movie.

I love Lawrence. It's not only one of the greatest films ever made, by pretty much everyone's estimation, it's one of teh few truly great films that I can watch over and over again anytime it's on TV. I probably first saw it when I was in high school.
