RAIDERS SUCK
Yeah, I know there's no sports forum yet, but this is the only proper first post for me. It won't have the same charm as the old one did (it was started by a Raiders fan), but the feeling is still there.

I think all sports except hockey and football(aka. soccer) are gay but, when I was a wee lad I for some reason liked the Raiders. I think it was their colours maybe, the black and silver is a very nice combination. I remember my daddy bought me a football that had a Raiders logo on it, I couldn't catch it very well but I could throw a mean spiral.

You have to be kidding. Soccer/futbol/football is the very gayest sport. I loved playing it as a kid, but I can't think of an American sport where people grab their shins in pain to get a penalty. Occasionally in Basketball, you flop, and pretend someone fouled you by going down. But they don't pretend that they are birthing Teena Yuthers out of their kneecap. Soccer is fun as hell, but is truly only good for guys to live out homoerotic fantisies of being overly fragile.

See you Raider-hating Bitches in San Diego when that game comes later this year!!!!!!!!
Are you buying tickets for them?
At some point the game isn't for a few weeks......why you gonna partake in the festivities??? It gets CRAZY in the parking lot...I saw like 3 fights last year, and a couple arrests...and that was BEFORE the game started..Raider fans are nuts.

Trust me, the only way the Raiders are going to the Super Bowl is if they buy tickets. HEY! If they hook up with the Eagles, maybe they can get a group discount!

Having that running game emerge makes one helluva difference, huh? for the last 3 years, 4-1 seemed to be the point we started to struggle. But I'm getting a different feeling this year. Our D is just deadly. And now it seems we have that dominant running game back, which opens things up for Jake, as we saw. It's still early and that WAS the Raiders, but I'm definitely more excited about our chances. I like that we're flying under the radar, too. Nobody will see us coming.

I couldn't agree more. Especially the part about being under the radar. It'd be hilarious if all the hype is destroyed and the Broncos and Steelers end up in the NFC Championship Game.
