post details of your most awkward high five moments

mine was on saturday when i was at the supermarket with my flatmate and we went through the check out and the chick was super friendly and bubbly and shit. She asks us what we were doing for valentines day and i responded 'buggar all, probably get drunk and talk shit about ex boyfriends' and she goes 'alright!!! high five!!' so she has her fucking hand way up in the air and had to respond because im a fucking nice person but when i walked away i was all like

at the pub two weeks ago i was heading to the pooper and this dude goes 'high five' and i reacted slowly and hit him in the forehead, i was drunk so i just kept walking

well occassionally he would mix it up and do one of those massive hand slap thingos where i would lose sensation in my hand for 10 minutes

I'm usually pretty good with high fives. My favorite high five moments were in Jordan, but that's because we would say "high five" in Arabic. Fun times.

I hate shit like this
like whenever the "guys" are all like "devin man" and try to do one of those hand grab things, I just fucking mess it up.

Or even you just walk into the common room and they want the high fives or are always high fiving, I'm just judging them.

But my bros that I really like I try to hug. I make it seem like a joke if they can't handle that, but like my closest friend in the building richard is just as weird as me so if he knocks on my door I'll just be like gimme a hug in this weird/patronizing/loving way and he rarely doesn't submit.

My buddy tried to high five me while we were double teaming this girl. Ew, that's how colds are spread. Amirite?
