What it is: The RM Interview Series is a way to get to know other members of the board and hopefully bring the community together a bit. Every few days or so, a new interview will start and an old interview will be locked and archived. Please try to keep this thread only about the person being interviewed. When it's your turn, you're welcome to talk about yourself as much as you want.

How it works: All questions and answers will stay in this stickied thread; all questions are optional however. When interest in the current person begins to die down, they will then choose (via PM) the next person to be interviewed. The person will also PM a mod to get the new interview started.

This is supposed to be fun! Hopefully there will be a mix of both serious and humorous questions (and answers!)

if you get to the age of 45 and are not married would you consider making an honest woman out of your dog?

how cool is that nads chick, i mean honestly?

when was the last time you sharted?

what is the grossest thing you have ever discovered in your fridge?

do you sing loudly in the car and then stop when you get to the lights?

are you afraid of drop bears?

have you ever caught your weiner in a zipper?

that is all for now, glad you got the interview

On a 1-Cool scale you score a Cool.

I don't remember. I have definitely done it in the last 24 months.

Nothing really though I am really really messy so sometimes things get left in there for a looooong time.

I have had a beard for about 12 months now. It's not super long but it's a beard. I have it mostly because I hate shaving and trimming a beard is easy. Kind of this length:

I definitely have "Jew hair". It is completely unmanageable. About 2 years ago I started going to a salon and getting it relaxed. I now bring my dog. It's super, super, gay.

Applesauce is good with potato latkas.

Last to first: I'm not drinking because my throat is fucking killing me (see related thread).

I read a ton of shit mostly related to politics and business but very few books.

Movies: The Usual Suspects, Requiem for a Dream, Magnolia, Meet The Parents (I know, I know), and Reservoir Dogs.
Albums: No Code, Ryan Adams - Cold Roses, MMJ - At Dawn, Wilco - Yankee Hotel Foxtrot, Les Miserables soundtrack.

Given that you are such a cool person, why do you have such a shitty username?

What do you like most about being a jew?

Do you know anyone that hates you and if so, why?

What is that creature in your avatar?

What do you score on the political compass test?

How did you manage to get me to post, for the first time, in a RM Interview thread?

I think my username is awesome. A mix of given2fly with Wall Street. Truthfully, when I registered I never in a million years would have thought I'd have more than a dozen posts in 10 years so I didn't put a lot of thought into it.

I think it's a two way tie:

1) Jews tend to have great sense of humors.
2) I think it's cool that there are so few Jews in the world yet they have such a huge presence in everything. (except professional sports)

I do not consider myself religious at all, though, and I don't care what the religion is of the person I am dating as long as they are not very religious either.

I think my former business partners probably hate me. They blame me for being lazy and contributing to our business failing. And, no, I won't get into it any more than that.

I don't think any ex girlfriends hate me as I have never cheated on someone or betrayed them besides not having the same feelings that they had.

David Ryan Adams.

Controlling inflation is more important than controlling unemployment.

Can't they both be important? I don't think government should be actively manipulating either cause they suck at it.

The businessperson and the manufacturer are more important than the writer and the artist.

Same thing. Why do I have to choose?

Image

I like that though I think I'm probably a tad more left than this.

i think lack of govt. intervention would be doing the first rather than the second, since more money is not flooding the markets, but that's just how i'd interpret it.

the second one does sorta suck, i never like that question.

Well, I look at this as the Fed's main role. They raise interest rates to control inflation and they lower them to control unemployment. Their true mandate is to control inflation, however.

Yes, politicians only care about unemployment and jobs.

Why no pic of you?

Have you decided where you will move or are you staying in San Diego?

Are you going to meet me, PearlJamfan80, and his girlfriend when we are in SD in April?

Do you ever go to the Belly Up?

Have you dated Jewish women? Is the stereotype proven true?

Favorite tv shows?

Favorite actors/actresses?

What degree do you have?

Thoughts about these artists:

Bruce Springsteen
The Who
Social Distortion
Alejandro Escovedo
Nine Inch Nails
Animal Collective
The Gaslight Anthem
Bright Eyes
