I don't get why there aren't more rap stations in the US that play older rap. The one here only plays whatever rap is on the charts at the moment and maybe something from like the last couple of years (Chamillionaire and Nelly, that's about it). I'd listen to a station that routinely plays Wu-Tang Clan, Dr. Dre, old Ice Cube, etc.

It's because despite popular beliefe, hip hop stations largest demographic is 25-50 year old females living in the suburbs. They don't want to hear some old school dre, they want to hear the newest lil wayne track.
