my power adapter has stopped working properly its strange, it will work directly to power the comp but wont charge the battery. The comp says it doesn't recognize the power adapter, so i tried another girls card which did work to charge my battery. anyone have a solution or do I just need a new cord.
I just dont get why it would wor directly but not for the battery.

Basically how does it make sense that it can power the computer but will not charge the battery?

just get a new fucking cord
