Can someone please tell me how to create FLAC files from CD? I suppose I'm not the most tech savvy guy. I do have a FLAC program that can decode FLAC files and have been using it for years to do so, but now I'd like to create some FLAC files from some CD's I have, so I can actually put some stuff out to the community.
If I need a program beyond the one I have, I'd love it if it were free.
Next, if some has simple directions on how to walk me thropugh this, I'd LOVE it!
Again, if anyone can help--THANKS!!!!!!!

If you're on Windows, the best prog to do these kinds of things is EAC (Exact audio Copy), it's free. The best source of informations for the configuration and the how-tos of this program is the hydrogenaudio site and forums (http://www.hydrogenaudio.org)
