Finally received it tonight by mail. It's been 3 weeks since i ordered it on cdbaby.com (the only web site on which i saw that it was available for sell). It was well worth the wait. What a solid album it is. The second solo effort by former Failure's frontman Ken Andrews is countless times better than "Shifting Skin". It has a much more rock sound to it. I've always been a big fan of Ken Andrews' work but i thought "Shifting Skin" was kind of a let down compared to his previous work with Failure and the Replicants. But now, i can rejoice....Make Believe totally blew me away.

do you like his other band, year of the rabbit?
oddly enough, i listened to YOTR's album the other day at HMV and didn't think it was very impressive. Maybe i was just not in the mood for that kind of music....i'll have to give it another spin sooner or later. Who knows...

Yup im in Illinois for a few more weeks...but let's get back on topic, how are you dear friend ?
i'm good. Work is just fine. I'm working on a project at the Montreal Biodome, which means that i get to visit the place any time i want because i got a pass . Gotta love those huge tropical fishes.
Haven't found my soulmate yet, but i guess she's still out there waiting patiently for me. Beside that, not much has changed, i guess.
What about you? Staying in Illinois for a few more weeks...and....then what? Going back in France, maybe, or moving to another state?

I've never even heard of this cd.
i'd be willing to put it on an FTP if someone has a good connection for that, since it seems the album can't be found anywhere other than on cdbaby.com. Personally, i think it's dandy pop rock music. That's why i'd like to share it with other people who've never heard it.
