Why has this eluded discussion? It comes out in a week.
Did you even listen to that mix I sent you?
If so, why are you still listening to this shit?
You know, almost everyone I know that listens to death metal also smokes tons of weed, so it's not like you need to listen to this garbage to be cool. Not sure exactly what that means, but anyway.

I doubt it, most of the hardcore fans are liking Reclamation a lot. Plus it's mostly seen as a tribute to Metallica and other bands that did that a lot back in the early days of thrash.

That's good if people are digging it. I just know too many folks whom i consider to be part of the "harder, faster, LOUDER" school of thought and the second one of their beloved heavy bands starts experimenting with different instrumentation they cry foul.
Personally, i'm glad to see the band branching out a little bit.

Agreed, Reclamation is a fucking amazing song. In Your Words, Contractor and Dead Seeds are also stellar too.
When I first put it on and heard The Passing, I was skeptical but then that crunching riff starts of In Your Words and Randy screams and I was like "oooooooffffff" Had me worried a bit, I love to see branching out too but I was not expecting that opening track.
Anyways this album sounds more like As the palaces burn then their previous 2 which is good, it shows growth but is also shows they are getting back to their roots and moving away from the polished sound of the 2 previous records.

I am really digging it. Contractor is fucking sweet.
I thought Contractor was the worst song. But it's not terrible.
I go through phases, I wasn't big on it at first but now I am really liking it. I love reclamation and in your words. "the sacred cash cow, with sickly tits." might be the best lyric randy has ever written. what a great way to start the album. anyways, contractor is so groovy, it kinda of reminds me of walk by pantera, not putting it in the same category just saying it has that same groove feel to it.
