The ending of Purple Rain is just mega. Incredible song.

i hope you realize that nobody will discuss this song and instead post their own favorite endings to songs in hopes that people will discuss those instead.

Also, the end of RHCP's Higher Ground makes me want to break stuff. I wish it would last longer.

Theres like 2 or 3 better songs than purple rain in the movie purple rain which makes the movie ending with purple rain kinda disappointing.

I'm 99% sure the movie ends with I Would Die 4U --> Baby I'm A Star. The band comes back to the stage to perform these as the encore to Purple Rain.

The album ends with Purple Rain.

Of the tracks on the Purple Rain I think that The Beautiful Ones has the best ending, Computer Blue is the best track though, even if it is seriously cut down from the original running time.
