Utah leads the country in online porn subcription. This is the shocking result of a study by Benjamin Edelman, a professor at the Harvard Business School. The study shows a trend for more internet purchases of pornography in states which tend to be conservative politically. Utahns appear to be the top consumers of this group.
The study shows a correlation between online subscription of porn and states that have enacted legislation against same-sex marriage or civil unions and where the climate is conservative where attitudes on sexuality and religion are concerned
Two of Utah's neighboring states, Idaho and Montana, came in at the low end of the study. Utah's score was higher than those two states combined. The number may be linked to Utah's young demographic. Internet porn subscribers tend to be between the ages of 15 to 24, while 65 and over arre the least likely. Household income and availability of pornographic material outside the home are also thought to contribute to the study's outcome.

in my opinion, utah is like the sheltered child who is overprotected and not allowed to do anything all of his/her life...and then that child goes off to college and experiments heavily

The hilarious thing about this is that reason Utah leads the nation in porn subscriptions is because the Mormons would consider it stealing to get their porn from the channels most of us get it from.
