Hockey Players Expelled After Alleged Sexual Incident
School Says Teens Had Improper Relations With Girl

MILTON, Mass. -- Milton Academy's hockey team took the ice Wednesday without five of its players who were expelled last week for allegedly having improper relations with a 15-year-old girl.

NewsCenter 5's Steve Sbraccia reported that the alleged incident happened in January in the school's athletic center.

The school posted signs telling the press and the public that the game was off-limits. The school offered a two-page letter to parents detailing what officials know about the incident.

Officials said that the episode lasted about 15 minutes in an area of the athletic facility that is used as a boy's locker room.

"The five hockey players were expelled because they coerced the girl involved," Milton Academy cannot tolerate situations in which any individual, regardless of gender, is pressured, consciously or unconsciously to perform sexual acts."

Officials said that they are angry with the hockey players.

"Students are expected to uphold the rights and the well being of others. Infringing on the well being of others is an unacceptable breach of this value," the letter said.

Milton police are also investigating the incident.

MILTON, Mass. -- Milton Academy officials have learned of a second sexual incident at the private school, resulting in more disciplinary action.

Five hockey players were expelled earlier this month amid allegations they engaged in sex acts with a 15-year-old female student in a boys' locker room.

The Boston Globe said the investigation into that incident resulted in school officials learning of a similar one two days earlier in a dorm room. The incident in the dorm room allegedly involved the same girl, three of the hockey players and a fourth boy.

A spokeswoman for the school said the other boy has been placed on leave and a boy who acted as a lookout has been suspended for one week.

Police have not yet decided whether to bring criminal charges against any of the boys involved.

The girl remains on leave.

Coersion? This same girl, as the radio continues to report, was also at a birthday party for a fellow classmate. She and a friend were greeting people at the door topless and during the party performed oral sex on a boy in front of everyone.

These boys have been expelled and the DA is considering pressing statutory rape charges against some of them. They are all high school students.

Does anyone else find it inconceivably wrong that these boys may have their lives destroyed by having a rape charge in their file because of an incident with, well, a whore?

And my rhetorical question/statement to the DA:

High school students are fucking. Are you really all that surprised?

And yeah, I pretty much agree. The girl's clearly a whore of massive proportions. Fuck giving a punishment these kids. The only thing these kids should receive is testing for various STDs and a box of Trojans.

No, because they really should have thought about what they were doing beforehand. "She wanted it" is not a valid defense. Also, a lot of this stuff occured on school grounds, so it's a little more than just "high school kids fucking."

No one is saying it's a valid defense, and I don't care if they were expelled, but to charge anyone with rape is over the line. Also, why hasn't she been expelled? She's only "on leave".

This is a private boarding school for rich kids. Everything they do is on school grounds.

If this had been 4 or 5 girls and one boy, would the girls have been expelled? I highly doubt it.

I do think that charging anyone with statutory rape is ridiculous. These are all high school students. Rape?

I don't get it? She was coerced into having sex? If it weren't for coersion, no one would ever get laid ... ever.

Seriously, reading this makes me think that they did something like blackmail to get her to perform. I mean, that's the only way I would think that high school kids should get charged with rape. Expelled make sense, I mean hell, they had sex in the school locker room, I get that.

Maybe they found out of the birthday party and threatened to tell her mother if they didn't get their own hummers.

Also, five guys getting their rocks off in 15 minutes? That's weak fellas. You'd better double bag it next time.

Shit. If this kind of punishment had been universally applied when I was in high school, I would have been the only boy not expelled.

It doesn't appear that the girl reported the incident as a rape. If she was gang-raped by the players, then this would be a different situation entirely.

But in this case, she may not have been a victim, but a willing participant.

Compounded by the fact that they are minors and it occurred in a public place, there is plenty of gray area.

Expell them all but I don't believe criminal charges are in order. Counceling may be a good way to go for all parties invovled.
