Always treat other people's time as if it's more important than your own. It doesn't matter if you are the CEO and it's the janitor. Live by that rule and you will do o.k.
P.S. This basically means not showing up late to things and not blowing people off.

I approve of this lesson.
On the other hand, it isn't enough by itself. My Dad is like this, and me and my brother joke about how he would rather be an hour early than 1 second late. However, my Dad's far from perfect in some other areas, so yeah.

No, you can still be a douche and be on time, I agree. This is more than being on time. It's treating others lives as importantly as you view your own, at least people you respect or care about.
