One Man Revolution qualifies easily, if we consider Morello to be "a" frontman.

Topping Cornell's latest album will be hard because sure there are bunch of terrible albums but you'll always find someone who loved them. I can't imagine anyone with at least an ear and a brain coming here and saying this is a great album. I'll be waiting though, it'd be pretty interesting.

None are as bad as TheFutureEmbrace or Scream, but some of Bruce Dickinson's solo work (see: Tattooed Millionare) wasn't generally accepted as being great (even though I've a soft spot for it.) This ain't solo albums, but everythng Rob Halford did (Fight, Halford) after he left Priest in the early '90's was fucking abysmal.
