I'm putting together a collection of acoustic stuff for a fan. I'll admit life has taken me away from the day-to-day Pearl Jam life so I'm not as sharp as I once was with all things PJ.

Can you please list out a bunch of acoustic shows for me in this thread so I don't miss any.

Off the top of my head I come up with

Red Rocks 95
Benaroya Hall
Boston 03 ?
MTV Unplugged
Poland 2000
All Bridge shows

Any other suggestions? THANKS!

Red Rocks 95 and Poland 2000 were not acoustic. they just started out with a collection of slow songs and the band was seated for the first 5-6 songs.

some that I can think of...

11.09.91 Tower Records; Rockville, MD
02.10.92 Virgin Megastore; Paris, France
06.08.97 Downing Stadium; Randall's Island, NY (Ed & Mike--electric)
03.29.98 Shrine Auditorium; Los Angeles, CA (Ed & Jeff w/ others)
07.11.03 Tweeter Center; Mansfield, MA (acoustic opening set)
10.28.03 Santa Barbara Bowl: Santa Barbara, CA (first half acoustic)
07.13.06 Santa Barbara Bowl; Santa Barbara, CA (acoustic opening set)
07.01.08 Beacon Theater; New York, NY (acoustic start)

I should add that I have not gotten to the Beacon show yet, so I am not sure if the beginning was acoustic, I just know they started with 5-6 slow songs.

It's getting hard to motivate myself to listen to the 2008 shows. just started MSG2 and finally felt some energy.

The opening set at the Gorge in 05 was acoustic, as well. ( Well, for the most part.)

wasnt it in 2005 that the first encore was acoustic? or at least slower w/ songs like footsteps and whatnot?

The Boston shows from 2004 contained acoustics sets mid show.

So did most of the VFC shows, if not all.

Worst setlist decision ever.

I wouldn't go that for, but I could have done without it. It reminded me of when I saw CSNY.

The problem with doing that is you make the show predictable because you have an idea of what songs will be played in that middle set and what won't.

I'd go that far. It shortened the sets and totally took the air out of the rooms that I was in.
