Also, i know its uncool to like PJ in here but thank god they are still around and havent tarnished the fuck out of their legacy like every other band from that "Era" that "we" grew up with.

Good god.
I agree they're not as bad as the other bands, but do you really consider Pearl Jam anything but a tarnish on a legacy that includes Vitalogy and No Code?

If you compare it to what corgan, cantrel, axl, and cornell have done to tarnish their legacy...fuck no.

but yea, i actually like self titled..sorry!
As much as I'm not a fan of Cornell's solo stuff I don't think he can be lumped in with the others. He hasn't done anything under the Soundgarden name which, frankly, is refreshing.

I think that all depends on personal taste. I'm probably in the minority here but I really enjoy the the self-titled album. For me, it's the best post 90's album. If you want to talk about tarnishing a legacy; how about Riot Act?

Oh, right. I'm sorry, how could I not see the beauty of "I have faced it/a life wasted"? Jesus, I mean, so deep, so clever, so musically intricate. Light years ahead of Corduroy.

to be fair, we said avocado was a good cd, not that it was their best or better than vitalogy or whatever pj release you usually jerk off to
