I'd be surprised if AAF wasn't doing anything too. They've been promoting the hell out of the rerelease and Mistress Carry (afternoon jock and music director) is way into it.

i have faith that in the next ten years or so radio is going to get REALLY good again. deregulation made all the stations swallowed up by a handful of giant corporations that run these stations with no local consideration and worrying about nothing but bottom line profits. i understand it's a business but in doing so they've sacrificed the air product and ended up losing money. eventually that whole system will go under, and when the big corporations get out of the radio industry the stations won't disappear, they will just fall into the hands of local ownership, and hopefully these people will have the balls to spend money on programming and make people feel like when they aren't listening to their favorite radio show, they're really missing out on something special.
