i don't get the age question. i'm not in school or anything, they're just lessons to improve my french, since a lot of people speak it here, and i just got here a bit over two years ago, and still have a hard time understanding the locals.
if you're a guy, and invite a girl for dinner, and she accepts, and then she tells you she has a boyfriend, but she still wants to go, and tells you that when said dinner takes place her boyfriend will be out of town, what does that mean?
any attempt at serious input will be greatly appreciated. i'm kinda fucked in the head right now.

you could try flirting a little bit and if she flirts back, try to take it further. if she just seems cordial about the whole thing maybe she just wanted a nice night out

the few times i have asked a girl out only to find out she is dating someone i have always asked myself, would i be pissed if i were here boyfriend and i always just say ill call you later, call her later and find a reason not to go out
sure some will say, well, if she wasnt into you she wouldnt go, but at the same time, if she was into me, she would dump her boyfriend. infedility sucks no matter how you slice it or how she rides it

It means make sure she pays for her own dinner.
that's what i was leaning towards...
actually, it's not an out of the blue thing. we've been talking a lot for a bit over a month now, after each class we walked home for like 30/40 minutes several times a week, since we leave near each other, talked about everything, never a dull moment... she turned out to be awesome, and i think she was really enjoying it too. it should be noted that during all this time not once did she even hint at having a boyfriend, in fact, from time to time she said things that pointed in the opposite direction. i didn't make a move, such as dinner invitation, sooner because of the teacher student thing and how it could be awkward, i dunno.

yep, good point too. plus, if for some reason she dumped her current bf for me or whatever, who's to say she wouldn't do it again later to me right?
