Where I'm at in my life...
I'm in South Carolina. I went home to Illinois to stay with my mom at the beginning of the year, having spent all last year in California. After about a month at my mom's I received orders to go back to Iraq. The first stop was South Carolina where they'd get us ready for deployment. Luckily, I broke my ankle skateboarding in September. I took my cast off before I was supposed to one day in November and now my ankle isn't fully healed and I'm not fit for deployment. So, I've been sitting around here for a few weeks waiting to go back to Illinois. I think I'll be heading out sometime later next week. My sister had a baby. She named him Evan. He'll be 1 in April. That's the big reason I like to be around there now. Though there still are the things that drive me crazy and make me depressed now and then. But what can you do, that's life. Right?

so... i just found out last night via an email from her mother that she's been dead since april of last year. her mother must have access to her email account. she was my fiance about 4 years ago. i think the last time i talked to her was in feb or march of last year.
