Hot Dogs are cheap. I bet if you're a struggling single mom and your kids are hungry, they'd much rather die at 70 from eating hot dogs than at 7 from starvation.
Only in America.
how does this study have anything to do with this post? i've read this post like 17 times and i can't even find a point here.
and i should add i love your breasts, but that's really beside the point.
considering you posted the article, you either wanted to comment about her breasts or are just an idiot
I gave up on you when you didn't facebook friend me, Peeps. I figured, hey.....he's just not interested. Time to move on. But then you go and start a pillow whore thread and get my hopes up all over again, only to dash them upon the jagged rocks of unrequited love.
Quit playing with my heart like that.

the study didn't say poor people shouldn't eat hot dogs cause they can have long term health effects, it said they have long term health effects. i don't see where the flaw in his post lies.

it says eating hotdogs can lead you to a quicker death
its common sense that hotdogs are cheap and affordable to single familes who are struggling
so should a single mom who only has say, $200 a month for groceries by chicken thatll last for a week, or use that money to buy hotdogs that can last a month?
btw...in no way shape or form do i endorse eating hotdogs every day of the month and twice on tuesdays, but just for arguments sake

i don't think finding that something may be detrimental to long term health condemns it in the context of a poor family struggling to subsist, as while it may cut 5 years off your life, you won't get to the point where that'll matter without the hot dogs.
i also don't know that the study makes any claims as to whether the effects on children are as severe as those on adults, since children were probably not studied and wouldn't have been an effective group to study anyway, since none of them would've died within the ten years.

$200 a month for groceries? I'm sorry, but realistically (in the United States) a single mom would be at the welfare office for food stamps before even considering trying to survive her children on only $200 a month for groceries. That amount is insanely ludicrous.
