Anyone play this? used to be called Championship Manager, just got into it recently its brilliant. It'd be cool to see anyone someon else's team.
Iv gone chelsea and signed a few quality players, such as fernando torres! got Freddy Adu on a free transfer, and he's worth over 20 million now!

He gets criticized a lot for not scoring or producing or whatever, but I think he's pheonominal. I've seen him play three or four times and he surprises me with the things he can do every time... I say in a few World Cups he'll be heading a very dangerous US National Team that guys like DaMarcus Beasley and Landon Donovan are building right now...

I wonder if we can pull out a win in Mexico on the 27th... probably not, seeing as Mexico has lost all of one WC Qualifying match there ever, but I have faith that we can pull it off

This is the first time I really believe the US can beat Mexico in Mexico City. Player for player, our team i superior. As an entire unit, our team is superior as well. I do believe that our biggest task will be overcoming the psychological advantage that Mexico possess when they play in that fuckin' enormous stadium. If anyone can do it, it's Bruce Arena and the team he has right now: Keller, Johnson, Pope, Mastroeni, Beasley, Lewis, Donovan, Bocanegra, Gibbs...we have the attacking players to score one or two goals against Mexico (here's to Eddie Johnson keeping his streak alive!), and we've also the defense to protect it. By the way, I think Rafi Marquez is out for Barcelona tomorrow, so maybe he'll be out for the next few weeks? or at least Barca won't release him to Mexico?! I'll take whatever we can get when it comes to playing down there...

I do the Fantasy Premier League from http://www.premierleague.com and it's quite fun. It's also free, which is nice. I'm not into spending hundreds of dollars on fantasy teams.

Yeah, I can't believe people were criticizing him. It's hard to criticize the kid for not scoring. He was all of 15 years old playing in the pros. Albeit it was the MLS, which isn't exactly the world's most competitive league, but still. He's 15. I'm with you though Parchy, I think he's gonna be great. Once he gets bigger and isn't getting knocked off the ball so easily and he becomes more comfortable in the pro game, watch out. World Cup 2010, we should definitely be contenders.

i agree...the amazing thing is, the kid's got 15 years of professional football ahead of him, possibly more. I'll almost guarantee that he'll be banging them in left and right in 4 years, which means he only be 20!

Haha, I wish had Henry in my team. but I'm doing alright because Andy Johnson is my captain and he's been banging them in all season. I was really pissed off when Gravesen was sold to Real Madrid, because he was in my midfield and was fantastic! I've got a few Everton players in my squad and they're great--inexpensive and productive.
