very simple brain dead music but god damnit all to hell if i dont love these guys. rick nielson is a great guitarist and robin zander has a decent enough voice

the flame might also be one of the best "power ballads" ever, right up there with ballad of jayne

I grew up listening to Cheap Trick, since they are from my hometown. There is a water park there called Magic Waters and they used to play one of the local radio stations overhead. I remember The Flame being on all the time. So, everytime I hear that song now I think of that place. lol

I like most of their songs, but Surrender sticks out to me the most.
