I've been playing this again for the first time in... what, 12 years? It's been a pretty intense walk down memory lane. I was maybe 10 when the game came out and its graphics and music seem to be firmly embedded somewhere in my subconscious, 'cause as soon as I started playing it again, it all came rushing back to me.
Anyone remember this fucked-up game and its craziness?

Are you serious? You missed out on a severely fucked-up gaming experience
I looked it up and it came out in '96, which was after I grew out of video games but before I grew back into them. I will have to track this one down, although as for it being the best game in the Mario series...plz. That game is called Mario Kart.

You rank Mario Bros 2 over Mario 3? Hmmm. I haven't played 2 in more than a decade probably, but I remember that myself and my mom's daycare kids all heavily favored 3.

For example, the use of "Flower Points" instead of Magic Points, timed action commands during battles, and the collection of the seven stars. In fact, Nintendo originally titled Paper Mario as Super Mario RPG 2.[26] Square's involvement in the original game made direct sequels legally impossible without Square's permission, involvement, or both, so Nintendo changed the title to Paper Mario

I was hardly ever a huge video game person, but this has got to be without question my favorite game ever. took up large portions of my life when I was in 5th grade or so. I've been wanting to play it again for a long, long time.
ok maybe Roller Coaster Tycoon wins favorite video game ever, but two totally different things.

Yeah, I knew. The Paper Mario and handheld games were great. But I was hoping for another Square/Nintendo collaboration

I played paper mario, which was a ton of fun. I want to download this, if it is truly available. Too bad I accidentally deleted my paper mario game after about 10 hours. I've been so frustrated by my own stupidity, I haven't played it sense...just too discouraged.
