I dunno man, I was listening to Clouds Taste Metallic again last night and I think I might prefer more typical "rock" TFL to the sound on The Soft Bulletin. Although the spacey sound on Yoshimi is their best sound of them all.

Don't sleep on Transmissions From The Satellite Heart. From start to finish that's one of the best, most cohesive records of the early 1990s.

Soft Bulletin and Yoshimi is all they needed to do for me to like them. Those aren't good albums, they're elite albums in my book.

What was the Christmas on Mars soundtrack like? It seems like it got released (saw it at Best Buy a while ago) and no one even noticed.

i've said it before and i'll say it again. the piano bass and vocals version of this is so much better than the full band version.
