Synopsis: Outside at recess the boys are challenged by the girls to a sled race down Phil Collins Hill. Token continually calls Cartman a fatass, which prompts Cartman to throw a rock at him. Because Token is black, the FBI steps in because it considers this a hate crime. Cartman is sentenced to juvenile hall until he is 21, but Cartman flees the courtroom and goes to Kenny's house and convinces him to take Eric to the Mexican border in his Go Go Action Bronco (reminiscent of the OJ chase). Eventually the battery goes dead and Cartman is arrested.
The boys realize that without Cartman's weight at the back of the sled they won't have enough speed to beat the girls during the race and try to figure out a replacement for him, before finally talking to Token's family. Token is willing to forgive Cartman, but Token's father, who is himself against hate crime laws, tells the boys they will have to convince the governor in order to free Cartman. The boys then put on a presentation before the governor, complete with visual aids, in which they detail their opposition to hate crime laws. The governor is impressed.
Back in juvenile hall Cartman is cell mates with an angry loner named Romper Stomper who promises to help Cartman escape if he smuggles items in for him through his ass. He does this a few times, each time before laughed at because Romper Stomper never planned on helping him escape, he just wanted board games and cigarettes. Eventually Cartman breaks down and cries for his mommy and Romper Stomper eventually agrees to help him escape. They get pretty far outside the jail but are captured, although Cartman is informed he has been pardoned by the governor.
He hurries back to the sled race just in time and helps the boys beat the girls once and for all.

Yet another 10/10. The ones with 2000 at the end all seem to be completely hilarious episodes.

Alright, I popped in the DVD last night and I still don't remember ever watching this episode. It had a few funny moments (Cartman flushing the cigs, the boys' choreographed-yet-stiff presentation) but left me disappointed. Who was the girl that kept calling the boys names whenever she talked? Was this the only show she was in? She was funny, too.

Wasn't it Bebe?

no, it wasn't bebe. bebe is visible in the first shot on the playground to the far right of the group of girls but i dont think she ever speaks in the episode. it's hard to tell who the girl who speaks is because she has a large overcoat on and you can't even see her hair color. i doubt she was in any other eps.

and, one of the things i like about this episode, although not side splitting hilarious, is the speech they give to the governor...because it's just so true (or was at the time). don't get me wrong, i understand that there is a lot of racism still prevalent (on all sides), but hate crime legislation is pretty ludicrous in most instances.

Isn't this the one where he puts the whole amusement park in his ass and reveals it at the end?

This is the best part for me as well. Overall I'd probably say the entire episode is probably 7-7.5/10 for me. Gotta love Phil Collins Hill.
