I know, it's in Mitte, one U-Bahn stop from the TV tower. I stayed there last September. Doesn't have the same feel as Munich, though. The bar did play me 99 Luftballons when I requested it, and I sustained one of my hugest hangovers and cockblocked someone, so it will bring back some memories if we do go there

Something like 9/17-24. Mostly I just rode around on a bike everywhere with some random guys from Yorkshire and New Zealand. And then with a coupla Americans found some bathhouse near the old bombed out train station which turned out to be a big nude gay hangout... the girls were amused the men paid more attention to me than them

This reminds me of a funny moment the last time in Berlin. We'd driven all day from the city before Berlin (Prague? I should look this up but it was a long drive), only hours before the concert, and then at the hotel we found out they had just given away our room. We were sent to a luxury replacement that was much further away from the venue. So far the not funny part. When we were checking in, still angry and exhausted and looking more dead than alive, the person behind the counter asked us if we were there to run the marathon . That was the big event of the next day.
