Pearl Jam Rock Band Project Coming Next Year

05.11.09
We need your help! Ten Club, MTV Games and Harmonix’s Rock Band, and Rhapsody are teaming up to let you, Pearl Jam’s biggest fans, help us choose the best versions of Pearl Jam live songs that will be presented for the first-ever fan voted set list for a forthcoming Rock Band project.

Your expertise will help us determine which of these versions is worthy of making the cut. Just click on the songs you like and open up the Rhapsody playlist widget for that particular song. Once you have the widget open, listen to the version you think is the best. The versions that are played the most times will be deemed the best versions and will then be entered into consideration to make the final “set list” vote.

Note: Those of you who aren’t Rhapsody subscribers will have to go to here to get your free trial subscription so you can use the play list.

You’ve got your work cut out for you.

Holy shit. If it has that many songs on it, I may never leave my house again. I can already hear the arguments with the wifey.

Everyone should listen to Last Exit from Hershey on repeat to make sure it gets in the game. "Fuck this fucking chocolate factory!"

I hate the fact that both of these games insult their user base with band-specific titles. Just put all those songs into DLC and let me pay $50 for them.

ahh...good point on the official releases. of all the songs i went through i didn't see 2000. sucks too, because i thought that was the tour where the band as a whole was just spot on...and Eds vocals are near flawless compared to recently.

I thought they sounded best on the mini 2005 tour, followed by the 2008 mini tour. 2000, not so much.

Hoping no one votes for the bad 2003 Satans Bed & Why Go or any of the bad 2006 versions of Garden... or the 2008 tuned down Life Wasted.

If Life Wasted from St. Paul I is on there, that should be your choice. Make it so.

My snark in response to this thread was going to be, "I don't see anything from 1994 on this list," but I think warehouse said it more succinctly.

Especially when it comes to certain songs on this list. Has Matt C. ever played "Even Flow" as well as Dave A. did? (Probably a discussion that's already been had elsewhere.)

I think some folks would love a shot at playing along with Jack Irons on the tracks he played.

I'm assuming this is probably just what Rhapsody had on hand (since the 2000 shows were never made available online).

Looks like the shortlist has just been thrown together at random :shake:

How else could you explain the inclusion of the trainwreck (yet somewhat humorous) version of Satan's Bed from State College 2003?

Also, clicking on Release, Severed Hand, STBC and SOLAT all bring up Wash - this happening for anyone else?
