I'm fine with it. If they have to play it, I'd rather have them not have to face me. Although, it was cool to see Eddie do a rope ladder climb during it a few years ago. I wish this song and Crazy Mary would just die a setlist death.

agreed

thou i have to say, when they play places they don't play often, the crowd always reacts in a massively positive way to it.

At Boston night one in 04 I was in the back nearly dead center and we all cheered real loud when they turned backwards to play a song. When they began Last Kiss I swear that there was what seemed like universal disappointment. I remember sort of a collective bummed out sounding "aawwww".

People always slam Last Kiss but when you hear it live, its nothing but 20,000 people singing along. If you're always in the back and its becoming a drag, you can always join the fan club and face the band.

Yea its because the casual fans get the cheap seats at the back and it is a casual fan favourite.

If you take offence to that post I was just kidding.

The back is actually a pretty cool place to be seated. I was in the very close back at Boston 06 and it was awesome to be so close and also be slightly higher than the band and looking down upon the stage over Matt's head. It's definitely an interesting perspective upon the band. Sort of a bird's eye view.

I'm glad they play this song to the back, I fucking hate it. Molson Amphitheatre doesn't have a back so hopefully that will reduce the chances of them playing it in August.
