Can we get a poll for this please, Mecca?

I was reviewing the NHL pages since the start of the finals, and was just thinking, jesus this guy tries wayyyyyy too hard.

I think the very point that he denies even the slightest bit of "homerism" tells us something about it.

I mean, I think for the most part, everyone else in that thread has admitted to having aspects of being a homer. But not Peeps.

can we get a poll that you know absolutely nothing about hockey as seeing every single one of your "predictions" have totally fallen through the cracks

just enjoy your summer of another shitty flyers season and be content there may be next year

Why so defensive?

YOU CAN'T HANDLE THE TRUTH!!!

this has nothing to do with me or the Flyers. So we can move on from that comment.

Anyways, thoughts?

jealousy of fleury?? I mean, sure he is better than any flyers goalie of this decade, but he's no all-star

and hell no, I don't recall that...if I did say that, I was drunk

I'm not sure if he's a homer but he's certainly fat and ugly.

Peeps is a homer.
We all are. If you care enough about sports, and to have a "team" that you care about, you are going to be a homer on some level. As far as it goes, peeps is better than most.

Is there a difference between being a fan and a homer?

When it comes to objectively discussing a team you root for (or against)?

Usually not.
