This is what should have happened, folks. This would have been the introspective follow up to Riot Act.

1. The Wolf
2. Wasted Reprise
3. Unemployable
4. Rise
5. Far Behind
6. Parachutes
7. Gone
8. End of the Road
9. Man of the Hour (demo)
10. Long Nights
11. Society
12. Come Back
13. Tuolumne

I see you've been spending your time constructively, Reid.

I'm really anxious to see what the fans have to say about this re-track.

Also, i need to get to 11000 posts before I take a real break from posting. I think that would be pleasing to the eye.

Actually, the idea of combining those albums is pretty great because Wild worked so much better in parts but didn't really have enough material, and s/t had so many missteps.

But starting with two songlets is silly.

I dunno. It has sort of a moody, scene-setting feel much like the first couple of songs on Floyd's Obscured by Clouds or Bowie's Low. It would have ruffled feathers for sure, but it's the kind of step I've been dying to hear Pearl Jam take, yet I know that it would never actually happen.

I'm going to make this into a playlist and see what it's like. Need some Severed Hand, Inside Job, and Army Reserve though.

Those tracks were not missed on my mix. Listen and see. They would royally mess up the flow and theme.

Pearl Jam from 2003 till now should have released a couple of christmas singles, sent out by christmas, nothing more.

1. 2004 : Man of the Hour / B-side : demo Man of the Hour
2. 2005 : Thank You (Led Zeppelin @ Chicago) / B-side : a speech in which the band members go on about how it was the best year they've ever had as a band and how it was the greatest ever tour, closing out with the Canadian national anthem and the girl from Ipanema
3. 2006 : Marker in the Sand / B-side : Parachutes
4. 2007 : Society / B-side : Hard Sun
5. 2008 : Modern Girl (cover as a tribute to Sleater-Kinney, RIP) / B-side : Olivia singing Modern Girl
