 Post subject: Update Bios without Floppy?

I need to flash my bios but I figured the the 3.5 drive was obsolete and my motherboard was more stable than it actually is....

Anyone know how to update the bios without a floppy drive or must I canabalize my old computer

i would assume the only other way is to put the exe on a cd and use the cd drive....

other than that, cant help ya

Yeah but the bios wont boot from a optical drive :(

then you'll have to use use the olde floppy for once.

next opportunty was to by a new, flashed bios-chip. they arent too expensive, you may wanna contact your local dealer or the manufactuer. i once ruined a bios whilst flashing it, and the manufacturer (ABIT) just send me a new one within days. no charge.
