Agreed. Saw Alice in Chains unplugged there and it was great. Got my congratulatory 10C presale email today and I can only dream that my tickets will be as good as I had for the Chains show. (http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=2 ... 48026cf4db)

WTF. When did AiC play there? I thought I had been to all their Nashville shows ( openers for Van Halen and Ozzy and during Lollapalooza). I've never even heard of this.

So, I went on Ticketmaster at 9:45 CST refreshed until the tickets were available at 10:00 CST, clicked to buy 2 tickets (best available) - No tickets available. Called Ticketmaster to find out what was going on, they said it was sold out. I asked how that was possible, they said - presale. When I asked Ticketmaster if they sold to anyone other than the general public they said - "NO". Of course they said they didn't know how many tickets the PROMOTER had given out or sold, I asked who the PROMOTER was and they didn't know. When I asked how many tickets they had to sell they said - "We don't know that". When I asked to speak to someone that did they said - "No one knows". I said - "Wait, you are ticketMASTER, MASTER OF THE TICKETS, someone knows, can I please get that number" They said "We can't give out that information, it's a security issue". I said "Whose security" Then she said she was going to get off the phone. I think it's awesome that all 2300 people there will be fan club members. The place should be electric.

Wednesday, October 17, 2007. AiC presale got me second row of the folding chairs in front of the pews. Incredible seats. Again, keeping my fingers crossed that 10C comes through with some decent tickets for this show. Congrats to everyone that got tickets - ryman.com says it's already sold out but I'm seeing some stray obstructed view tickets on ticketmaster.com

How did I not hear about this? I'm quite shocked.
Do you have a set list for that night, Nathan?
I couldn't track one down online, oddly enough. I had to dig through my setlist collection to see if I scored one that night, which sadly I did not. I did get a guitar pick from Jerry, though.
Tossed my hat into the ring for 10C tickets to the newly added night one show, so here's to hoping the luck continues.

Good show but nowhere near as strong as night 1. Kind of felt phoned in at times. And it's simply annoying to have to deal with all the dumb-ass PJ fans/shouters at the solo shows. They nearly ruin the show every time.

Wish the whole band would play there. Be a perfect venue for an "unplugged" show.
Its interesting you brought that up. There's a relatively well-known venue called Wolf Trap in Virginia, about 10 minutes outside DC that they've never played. Its an open amphitheather tucked away in the woods, but the great thing about it is the wooden structure provides incredibly acoustic sounds. You get everything from symphonies to classic rock to oldies acts coming through in the summer, but I was just thinking how amazing it'd be to hear them play an acoustic-style show in this place.
I guess every city has some place similar that's tailored for such performances. How cool would it be if they did an acoustic tour sometime and hit those kinds of venues?
