When I hear the bass parts, I just want to emmulate Jeff, but Stone is cool, and I pick up my guitar and play his parts... Jack of all riffs, master of none

I know we have Given to Wail, and it is an invaluable resource, but I still have occassional questions about playing PJ songs on guitar, and I enjoy talking about it, so i figured I'd start a thread like this. All questions/discussion/insight is welcome!
I have a question: What key is the solo to Immortality in, and what scale is Mike using?
Also, when the solo for Immortality picks up near the end and the chords change I usually just repeat (for rhythm) Em Cmaj Em A5, but Given to Wail has something else listed. Can anyone help me out here?
