Alright, since it seems all the threads actually discussing this movie have moved into revealing plot turns, etc, I thought there should be a thread for those who want to talk about the film but also are waiting to watch it before learning the entire story.
I'll admit, I tuned into the last half of the OC looking for the trailer, mostly because my logic didn't win out when I kept saying to myself "You know they won't show it until the final commercial break." Also, my computer is slow as fuck, so checking it out online is a pain.
I must say, I'm excited. I don't remember feeling very strongly about the trailers for I & II. We all know how those turned out. I just can't see how anyone with at least some talent, which hopefully Lucas still has, could not make an enjoyable film with this plot line. Anakin to Darth has to be intriguing, doesn't it? Hell, just Samuel L. Jackson prominently displayed with a light saber should make the ticket price worthwhile.
Come on George, I have faith in you. Make it all worthwhile.

I completely agree. Please don't fuck up what should be an absolutely classic cinematic moment. I can almost hear the imperial march playing now....

Do you know about what time the trailer aired? I don't want to watch the show at all.
It was basically after the show's conclusion. So it was around 8:50pm, probably later, eastern standard. If you tune if at quarter til, you'll catch a bit of the show but won't miss the trailer.
Wow. Fucking badass, thanks for the link. I don't even think Lucas could screw this up, even it is spectale over substance, it looks awesome

Don't mean to be a dick (no, wait, yes I do), but how in the hell do you discuss a movie that hasn't come out without revealing spoilers? You went to Michigan State, didn't you?

Well, us Michigan St. alumni can think outside the box and enjoy the discussion of pure anticipation. I think it's from years of sucky sports teams. Plus, it is possible to discuss the trailer, how much you want to beat George Lucas upside the head, etc, without giving away major plot lines. Or you can just go shut the hell up.
