I guess it's better to turn such hatred and anger into art than to kill people or something, but it seems that the world is a better place with less people like this in it, and I think Ildjarn would probably agree.

a better place in the sense that everyone would be ignorantly blissful and get along / have the same interests
but in terms of animals and the planet it would be horrible

No. Better in the sense that someone who so hates life and other people is not only miserable himself (fail), but spreads his misery to others (double fail).
"The World" would clearly be a better place without people at all, but creating black art does nothing to help with that. To wipe out people it would be very bad for "the world" in the short term, and probably the long term as well, so the only choice is to encourage people to live in better harmony with "the world". Harmony is not encouraged by cacophony.

I agree with you that humans can theoretically co-exist in a peaceful way with the planet and the other life on it. Though it would take a lot of work and the vast majority of the population are not willing to put in that work. So to me it becomes somewhat of a pipedream and makes me more misanthropic in the end. Also, scientists have more or less proven that in the long term the planet would be better off without human life.
To touch on "black arts" as it were, it's unless if you live in a small village in the third world somewhere. Free from technology and the pressures and absurbity of modern society. But everyone who (with the right frame of mind and intentions) takes from the black arts is living in a modern society for the most part, so it has something to offer I think.
