Post subject: I really don'ge get these eddie shows...

i have been to every show so far. the day these ten club tickets go on sale they are impossible to get and everyone complains. then the day they go on sale on ticketmaster they instantly sell out and again people complain.
BUT
when you go to the show there are SOOOOO many people with extras, singles, pairs etc. last night people couldnt give away extras. i saw two people just give there tickets away for free finally. when i went inside the entire night there were four empty seats in my row, six in the row in front of me and an awful lot empty in my general area...i just dont see why it is so hard to get them. but then nobody wants them later.... just seems odd.

It is weird. For the first Albany show, my friend called the theater box office on the day of the show to see if they randomly had any tix available. He got 2 in the center orchestra row 8

Economy. When the economy was better, people would shell out hundreds of dollars per ticket it seemed. I'd look at stubhub, ebay, etc. back then and the prices were ridiculous.
The only good thing is that the scalpers are getting fucked for once.

we made the same observation outside of Chicago 1 last year. Hell, I think cincydude got $20 for his extra 10c ticket, and that was only after turning down a bunch of lower offers.

Yeah, I got my tickets off of ticketmaster the day they came out for Chicago 1, but that night everyone else in my row had gotten their tickets earlier that day off of ticketmaster.
