I've read that Ed has played a new version of Betterman at some of his solo shows. Has anyone heard this? How is it? Anyone want to PM me (hint, hint)?

It's been described as a lullaby...which seems fitting to me. Not particularly memorable. I prefer the covers (Hurt, Ship Song, Atlantic City...)

Not a huge fan. The new musical arrangement doesn't do the lyrics and story any favours. The music is pretty and it's nice to hear a different take, but the original is superior.

I've found the new versions usually aren't as good, but I think it's fun to hear a different take on a song that I've heard billions of times. Does a live recording of this exist or did you all just hear this at shows?

I also think it's a nice refreshing new take on a song we've all heard hundreds of times. I think it really compliments Ed's voice in a solo setting. But, I miss the tag.

i didnt really care for it, but they should keep changing them up more often. the alternate Jeremy and Corduroy are incredible.
